Our role

Go desktop services, React interfaces, developer tooling, and MCP integration

Built for

Laravel developers and software teams

The problem

Keep the development context together.

LaraDeck brings everyday Laravel development tasks into a shared workbench. Developers can inspect request activity, explore database relationships, work with events and queues, and investigate application behaviour without continually switching between disconnected tools. Built with Go, Wails, and React, it works alongside Laravel Herd.

The challenge

Bring Laravel runtime activity and everyday development tools into one understandable workspace.

Our contribution

What we built.

  • Built a Go and Wails desktop application with a React and TypeScript interface.
  • Connected request activity, debugging, and performance investigation in a shared workspace.
  • Created workbenches for events, queues, webhooks, and database inspection.
  • Integrated MCP tools for coding assistants with explicit project trust.
Engineering decisions

The thinking behind it.

A Go backend connects desktop workflows to a React interface through Wails. Project trust keeps agent access tied to an explicit developer choice.

Runtime inspection is useful because it connects development tools to a real application. That access needs an explicit boundary. LaraDeck ties agent inspection to project trust, while its desktop interface brings request activity, queues and database exploration into a shared development context.

The result

A single workspace for understanding and working with a Laravel application.
